It's strange, Rockmelt (my browser) doesn't like holding cookies for anything except Mudcat. Joe, have you been practising witchcraft again?

More and more, it seems the "default" settings on browsers and security packages, are to disallow cookies or to delete them when the browser is closed. Sometimes, it's tricky to find a setting that will allow you to keep your Mudcat cookies. If you keep losing your Mudcat cookie, that's probably what's happening.

You can use the "login" link on the QuickLinks dropdown menu, the "Membership Has Its Benefits" link on the forum menu page (which appears if you're not logged in), or the "Membership" link at the top of most Mudcat pages.

Whatever you do, please don't start a new membership if you've already registered. All you need to do is reset your cookie by entering your user name and password. If you don't know what they are, I'm always happy to help. Oh, and I think our automatic password sender is working again.

If you somehow have cookies set to not be saved for the Mudcat page, you would have to reset it each time. Mudcat will 'recognize
you if it can read a cookie on your browser.

You mean you don't know who you are?

If you come to Mudcat and create a message is it automatically supposed to recognise who you are? I have to go to my personal page every time.
