Had a great ride Whitby to Battersby one Sunday during the North York Moors Anniversary.
At GLAISDALE two main line steam engine hauled trains pulled in opposite to pass

Ah foiled again, you have seen through my cunning plan, how can I now waylay people by taking them to a fictional location and then robbing them at the point of my cutlass and pistols in order to provide funds for the rescue boat, curses, curses!

Hi All,

The Glaisdale train is on tract again this year, I have been to see the new licensee in the Arncliffe Arms and he is looking forward to welcoming us in August, he had be "warned" by the previous tenants Graham and Marie who gave us a thumbs up.

S0 the train leaves Whitby 12.44 on Sunday 21st August arriving in Glaisdale at 13.08 last train back leaves Glaisdale at 16.26 and arrives back in Whitby at16.56 just in time for early evening cocktails at the Endeavour.

Looking forward to seeing friends old and new and hopefully raising a few bob for the Runswick Bay Rescue Boat, running total so far this year is £1100, if anyone would like to donate a raffle prize they would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Nick & Christine
