a strong   bias towards male singers 7 out of, only 1 solo female singer.

If that is Johnny that is Gilly H's brother, I believe you know my brother Geoff who lives in Portobello.

There's an outside chance that I might blag "a blanket on the floor" from him sometime and inflict myself on Edidbugh Folk Club.

Hi Dave,

Not the same Johnny but I know him too. I might even have met Geoff as I've met quite a few people from Porty in my time.

Females are involved in 5 of the lineups here featuring vocals from Judy Dinning in Real Time, Jenn Butterworth in RH Trio, and The Carrivick sisters.
