Just got the festival boxes with all the bunting etc out of the loft and found the notice board for the kitchen. Can't believe it is whole year since I put them away.

Looking forward to it already.

Just heard that the proceeds of the Raffle will be going to The Kent and Sussex Air Ambulance Trusts. An excellent cause - bring plenty of £1 tokens which I will exchange for Raffle Tickets!

Lost internet at home due to lightning strike so cannot reply to any emails, if they are sent, before the weekend. Limited access (net-nannied) today, then zilch.

Meanwhile, looking forward to the weekend, don't forget to bring your raffle prizes, £ tokens & white elephants...

Hils

Hope it was only a power surge (bad enough I know) and not more serious structural damage.

See you at the weekend.

Dave

Back online, Orange pulled their finger out & got a new Router to us double-quick!

Raffle is all set up & ready to go. Couldn't believe the price of raffle tickets, I've used up the stock that Dave4Guild kindly gave me several years ago. Always think of him when I do raffles, friends never really leave us, do they?

I've got a few white elephants to bring, don't forget to pack yours....

Despite missing so much of the weekend because of going down with a nasty lurgy it was a smashing weekend.

MGAS raised almost £300 with the raffle, a huge thankyou to her and all those who brought prizes for it.

We amnaged to sell all the draught Harveys by the strat of the Sunday session.

It was lovely to see so many friends (remember strangers are only friends you have'nt met yet) having such a lot of fun together.

A special thank you to our Bar Stewards Ian and Bins who worked tirelessly to get the beer so wonderful.

All-in-all a fab weekend.

Yes, it was a wonderful weekend! Good company, beer, singing & weather. Well done to Mary, Ian, Liz, Bins and all the stalwart Travelling Folk. Organising the raffle was a pleasure, everyone was very generous for an excellent charity and they kindly put up with being mugged & re-mugged for raffle tickets. Roll on next year....
