Just a note of thanks to Martin( the Englishman)and the Morris side who danced for us in the square in San Francisco in June. My American friends were so delighted that you were kind enough to perform an unscheduled dance especially for them and the memory will stay with them as a part of a memorable holiday.

They were wearing red waistcoats, yellow and orange ribbons with black socks. Hope this is helpful in identifying them.

Berkeley Morris, of whom Martin Harris is a great friend, wear red and black waistcoats; black stockings, shoes, and hats; and white breeches and shirts. Last I saw them (on May Morning), ribbon colors were a personal choice so that's the only element that doesn't quite fit.

So, does this look like the right team? If so, there's a "contact us" link on the team page that you can use if you would like to thank them yourself, or I would be happy, as before, to pass on your thanks. I'm a long-retired member myself, but happily a current member lives next door.
