Sue's OP put back by over 2 hours, problems with her blood.
thus when I went she was very groggy and in a bit of pain.
No news to pass on at moment too soon for any results, due to
timing of OP.Many thanks to you all for the support, will
update 9pm friday.

Morning all no news last night, son and daughterinlaw went, so I had night off, was going to have quiet night in but Kugee [the dog] insisted we went to the Pub. Sue is in good spirits today, has been moved into a ward with good views, and all 4 ladies are changing from Heperin to warfarin so its a good self help group. One not so good piece of news
we have to wait until July 20 for biopsy results, seems a long time
but Hospital say is normal. One unusual piece of news for you all, because of thin blood they are taking samples from her feet, only place they can find a vein, this is is giving rise to much hilarity on ward.I will close now to get this posted, many thanks to you all for messages of support, txts and Get Well cards, they do so much to lift Sue's spirits [and mine]

Tony
Sue is in good spirits again today, the OP incisions healing well, they didnot require drains so all is well no pain and the soreness is going away. Her blood though is being a problem the INR reading [blood thickness] has to be 3`5-4`o for aprox 24/36 hours, for the hospital to release her, after 30 mgs of warferin and 100 units heperin in the last 48 hours INR fixed at 1`5 and will not go up,so long wait in store.

Tony
Morning all movement on the blood at last, last nights test came back at 8`0, far too high but good news non the less, no chance of blood clots [my main concern],and far easier to lower it.Sue has hopes of release Tuesday, I think, possible Wednesday more likely Thursday, but am keeping quiet, [better too keep her hopes up than dash them]. Two tests done this AM but no news as yet.

Tony
Morning all, news a bit mixed today, but a funny to end with.Sue was very tired last night, sure sign blood thick, dropped back to 2`1 not good, so back onto heperin and warfarin, Nose bleed in the night, and asked for pain killers [those who know her dislike of tablets of all kinds will understand] so must be bad.
Good news is her two sister are coming today and staying a couple of days to do visits, this will realy cheer her up.
Now the funny- as I was leaving last night sue said, " if the dog is in the mood take him down the Pub" True I swear.Dont know what drug she is on, but will ask for 10 year supply when she comes home.
Once again I thank you all on Sues behalf for the cards txts and messages they are a big lift.

GOOD NEWS Breast OP succesful, only 1 lymph gland dodgy, Surgeon very pleased!!! We are very upbeat about it all. Oncologist now takes over. Chemo will start in approx 6 weeks, if we are lucky it will be after Shrewsbury that will be a huge bonus, Sue so much wants to be there. Verna has phoned Sue [thank you Eileen ]and wished to be remembered to all.
Dog says he is in the mood so we are off to celebrate, scratchings for him and a quiet pint for me [plus 5/6 very very noisy ones]
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support love and friendship for us both in these trying times.
