Subject: FSSGB Fall Getway Weekend 2011 From: lfassman Date: 05 Jul 11 - 03:58 PM Hi all, Just wanted to spread the word that the Folk Song Society of Greater Boston is having our annual Fall Getaway Weekend from Friday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 2nd, at the very comfortable Prindle Pond Camp and Conference Center in Charlton, Massachusetts (USA). Staff members are the angelic-voiced Irish tradition bearer Kate Chadbourne, and Tom Smith, an endearing collector and performer of traditional folk songs. The weekend features staff concerts, a campers concert, workshops and lots of opportunities to jam and relax in the lovely rustic setting. The weekend includes 5 delicious meals, and veggie options are available at every meal. Special requests can be accommodated if you give us advance notice.
