I love your guitar. If i had the money for a guitar like that I'd buy one.

ok, not going to comment on the music
as 'one man and his guitar does campfire favourites' is not my usual preferred listening choice..
I need to be in the right mood..

But my wife loves that genre.

On a practical note, I'd suggest the sheer size of the download
will be off putting to many folks here.

Maybe consider just 3 or 4 of the tracks as a smaller sampler mp3 zip,
with an option to download the whole set as either wav or mp3 ?

Also, it's an impatient world, and I'm probably not alone
in grabbing the free music first
and not bothering to read your website details
unless I first like the sound of what you're doing.
[I'll check your website when I get back from Tesco
and settle down with a mug of tea to listen further..]

so maybe a bit more info here re track list would have been useful..

BTW it looks like tracks 1-11 are wav
and track 12 mp3 ???

As a working sound-obsessive disk space is always a premium...

Its a 331MB zip containing 'CD quality' WAV tracks
which tests ok in Malwarebytes' and McAfee,
so nothing to worry about re virus/maware;
and an average size download for anyone accusted to this sort of free music aquisition..

At least it's not Mp3.
Nice consideration to give away his music free in high quality
but would have been a smaller download if WAVs were encoded to flac,
though that might have confused a few folks unfamiliar with flac format ?

As for the music.. can't say much yet as I only sampled track 4 for a few secs
cuz I ned my breakfast..

it's a bloke and a guitar and a few old folky wine bar/camp fire standard songs.

I'm wary about downloading anything like this for various reasons. Might I suggest Soundcloud as an alternative? You can host things (up to two hours) for free and feature notes & graphics, making them downloadable or not. The crucial thing is, you can play them at the sight, and it's a very cool place to be. Here's ours by way of an example:

Rapunzel and Sedayne

Looking forward to hearing you. I'm assuming by North East you mean Tyneside? Do come to our Ballad Session at The Durham Folk Party at the end of the month...

Hi,

I hope no one minds me sharing this: I am Daniel and I write and sing and I'd just like to share a set of recordings I did yesterday for anyone interested in hearing interpretations of traditional folk songs.

For about a year and a half it's been my joy to have discovered many great folk clubs in the North East, and also the discovery of not just acoustic music and contemporary folk (which I'm more known for) but also going back to 'As Good As I Been To You' and 'World Gone Wrong' of Dylan's backlog: Basically, I love folk songs.

Anyway, for anyone who wishes to listen or even review my new set of songs, it is available here for free:

Times A-Getting Hard

My website

Thank you,

Regards,

Dan
