The early reports of serious injuries turned out to be wrong. Just three people with minor injuries, including Cheap Trick's truck driver.

From the video footage I've seen on the news and the reports I've read, including a couple by Ottawa friends who were there, it was pretty miraculous that there weren't a lot more people injured or even killed.

From the perspective of TV footage it looked rather flimsy to me. Then they showed the grandstands being built for the U-2 concert Moncton. Now I don't intend to go but if I did I would have second thoughts before climbing on!

There were 8 reported injuries SINS, but none serious. The stage collapse was caught on film/video and it's on Youtube.

A sudden storm took out the stage with several people hurt. Any of our Canadian contingent in attendance? Everyone OK?
