The advance music for this workshop is ready to be sent out; you can choose a song to learn, but you don't have to. If necessary we can produce midis of the tunes.

I have produced midis. Tom & Barbara write:

'As part of the afternoon session, we invite you to choose one of the attached (or more if you really want to!) and prepare a version to perform during the workshop.

There's no obligation to do so – and even if you do, there's no right or wrong way to do it. It can just be very interesting to compare how different people do it. If you don't read music, don't worry – one of the objects of this exercise is to see how interpretations of manuscript can differ!

We will have the original recordings from which these versions were transcribed with us.

We'll also invite you to give us a rendition of one or more (depending on how many are at the workshop) West Country songs that you may have in your repertoire – and I daresay we'll reciprocate.'
