Does anyone have knowledge or experience of what seem to be the two main groupings in the UK? - the International Songwriters Association and the Guild of International Songwriters and Composers. Are they useful, effective etc. TIA

Thanks. I was hoping for info on whether anyone has experience of such associations. With the Folk/Country/Bluegrass field there are most likely more songwriters who have written songs than any other Genre. do people just not bother? Or are these setups considered too professional/establishments.
