here's a profile of the mt. airy, north carolina old time festival, part of an ongoing book called 'alive without permission' about people who play and listen to traditional/roots/americana/etc. music. the piece includes cameos of clawhammer banjo wizard mark olitsky and fiddler joe thrift, and tara nevins of donna the buffalo.
