Subject: RE: I hear 'Sailing By' & I'm homeward bound From: GUEST,Eliza Date: 22 Jul 11 - 06:16 PM At my neighbour's funeral, they played Sailing By as the coffin was carried in. We were all in tears, he adored sailing, and his little boat, Cinnabar, had to be taken away on a low-loader the following week. So sad. |

Subject: I hear 'Sailing By' & I'm homeward bound From: Will Fly Date: 22 Jul 11 - 01:36 PM Anyone here catch "Sailing By"* on the way home from a late gig?. Whenever I drive home from a hectic or noisy gig, I always put the radio on in the car just before midnight - instant relaxation for a tired musician - and I know that home and bed is on its way... Anyone else a "Sailing By" addict? * [US 'Catters - "Sailing By", played by the Perry Gamer Orchestra, is the theme tune to the UK midnight Shipping Forecast on the radio]. |
