I've been doing the 30 Song A Day Challenge (every day you choose a song based on a list). As opposed to just linking to a video, I decided to record them all. I'm a day behind thanks to spending yesterday playing Laser Tag (I'm so cool, and you know I am), but here's the list.

@Jack: I found that the hardest ones to choose were the favourites. It took me about 2 weeks to decide those, whereas I knew straight away which I didn't like. The trick is also to choose a short song. All around My Hat took me about 30 minutes to record, and the *shudder* Keane took about the same.

@gnu: Basically, the list is somewhere and you tell people you're music tastes. Starts with the favourite, then the least favourite and goes through things like songs from your childhood and favourite bands.

Gnu, he is performing them himself (but audio only, not on You Tube), but he's also linking to the original on You Tube at the end of his blog entry.

I looked at your link, but found it too difficult to read - any chance that the black background may be replaced with something more friendly to the eyes?

And I finished! 29 songs in 30 days. I'm impressed with me.

I technically finished yesterday. I'm in the process of zipping up the whole lot for download for those who want it.

Also, if this could be moved upstairs?

OK, moved upstairs, as requested. But really, it should have been at the top the whole time, if it's substantially about music. The dividing line is between music and non-music, not between snooty and non-snooty, or popular and unpopular, or whatever.

I think I'd written it while tired. At some point, I will learn that BS is not default.

As an aside, I've zipped it up (hopefully it finished uploading before it shut down - had to rush for a rehearsal - so apologies if it is a dead link).
