Subject: RE: Folklore: Graham Wardrop (NZ) at Llantrisant FC! From: GUEST,Dr Price, Cookie-less Date: 26 Jul 11 - 04:32 AM News from Christchurch: Graham, and all the Christchurch population, are STILL experiencing the living hell of 5,000 tremors to this day. Martin Curtis, who lives in Cardrona, South Island, and who regularly uses Graham's recording studio in the Christchurch suburb of New Brighton, told me the city is rocked by over 80 tremors a day. He was recording with Graham when two strong tremors shook the city within hours. The nerves of the Christchurch residents are shot to pieces; they want to move out of the city, but their homes are worthless. No-one wants to move back there. Graham's home and studio have just been condemned, and he spent time moving his belongings to his father's before he jetted off to Europe. |
Subject: Folklore: Graham Wardrop (NZ) at Llantrisant FC! From: GUEST,Dr Price Date: 25 Jul 11 - 09:33 PM Graham Wardrop, from Christchurch, NZ, is something really special in the guitar department - he's just jaw-dropping, and he's playing for Llantrisant Folk Club this Wednesday, July 27 (at The Windsor Hotel, Pontyclun.) Bridgend World Roots had him tonight, and were really impressed. Graham's next stop is The Old Post Office in Rosebush, Pembs, on Thursday, and he has a gig in the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay.
