Thanks again, Nigel. It's a good tune worth promulgating. I've been looking for music to play on my flute, and this will be a good addition to the collection.

I was taught this song in primary school over 50 years ago but I could only remember the tune and the line "A Breton fisher fears no foe".

I was having a discussion about Bretons with an old friend earlier tonight. He was at school with me but couldn't remember anything about the song. I googled the line I remembered and found the words. Absolutely marvellous. Are there any recordings of it, perhaps on youtube?
