Thank you, Joe, for putting the "other" Tea Party thread to sleep... It was way past due...

But there are still issues related to the Tea party so I am cranking up yet another thread for folks who might want to offer their comments...

Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) is defined by the American Psychiatric Association as a personality disorder characterized by a pattern of excessive emotionality and attention-seeking, including an excessive need for approval, usually beginning in early adulthood. These individuals are lively, dramatic, enthusiastic, and flirtatious.

They may express strong emotions with an impressionistic style, and be easily influenced by others. Associated features may include egocentrism, self-indulgence, continuous longing for appreciation, and persistent manipulative behavior to achieve their own needs.

People with this disorder are usually able to function at a high level and can be successful socially and professionally. People with histrionic personality disorder usually have good social skills, but they tend to use these skills to manipulate other people and become the center of attention.

Histrionic personality disorder may affect a person's social or romantic relationships or their ability to cope with losses or failures.

They often fail to see their own personal situation realistically, instead tending to dramatize and exaggerate their difficulties. They may go through frequent job changes, as they become easily bored and have trouble dealing with frustration. Because they tend to crave novelty and excitement, they may place themselves in risky situations. All of these factors may lead to greater risk of developing depression.

Additional symptoms include:

    Exhibitionist behavior.
Constant seeking of reassurance or approval.
Excessive dramatics with exaggerated displays of emotions.
Excessive sensitivity to criticism or disapproval.
Proud of own personality, unwillingness to change and any change is viewed as a threat.
Somatic symptoms, and using these symptoms as a means of garnering attention.
A need to be the center of attention.
Low tolerance for frustration or delayed gratification.
Rapidly shifting emotional states that may appear superficial or exaggerated to others.
Tendency to believe that relationships are more intimate than they actually are.
    Making rash decisions.

I suppose the main, unifying item of the Tea Party agenda, is taxes. It seems to me that taxes are absolute anathema to the tea party people. They seem to be the primary force behind the "no new taxes" pledge that most California Republican elected officials have been forced to sign. The trouble is, it hogties the legislature and does not allow for any sort of rational restructuring of taxes, either.

I keep trying to find some logic behind the Tea Party, but it seems to be mostly slogans, and a no-prisoners-taken opposition to taxes and immigration.

Makes me yearn for the Good Old Days of Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon Republicans.

Take a look at this (Covert Operations, The billionaire brothers who are waging a war against Obama. By Jane Mayer August 30, 2010), if you want a good examination of the political views of the Koch brothers and their support behind the scenes of the tea party movement. It's in The New Yorker.

Druther have Barry Goldwater than what we have now! He was, at least, rational and cooperative.

The "Tea Party" is currently self-destructing. Nothing can hold together when there is no real structural elements to hold it in place. Propaganda and slogans only work for a while -- vide North Korea.

I'm told that "daddy Koch" (Fred) was a relatively poor and struggling petroleum engineer when he learned that his buddy Joe wanted some oil refineries. Fred put together a package of 19(?) refineries for delivery to Joe, and that was the beginning of Koch Industries.

Anybody want to guess who "Joe" was?

The New Yorker cites the Center for American Progress and Media Matters as objective sources without mentioning they are funded by George Soros. Also the Center for Public Integrity which has been criticized for accepting large funds from George Soros.

It says the Political Economy Research Institute named Koch Industries one of the top ten air polluters in the United States. Along with Ford Motor, General Motors (mostly owned by the US Government), GE (whose CEO is Obama's Jobs Czar), Pfizer, Eastman Kodak, Sony, Honeywell, Berkshire Hathaway (owned by Obama supporter Buffet), Kimberly Clark, Anheuser Busch and Goodyear but it does not mention that they are all regulated and within the law.

Where is the hit piece on Berskhire Hathaway, GE or GM, named as one of the top ten polluters?

All that said, I am not opposed to more taxes as long as they are well spent and used to pay down the national deficit.

However I think my taxes are pissed away on pork barrel bullshit so that Politicians can fulfill their #1 objective, reelection.

Why is Greece, along with several other industrialized countries, on the verge of bankruptcy? Was it some sort of Tea Party thing? Was it a Koch Brothers type of conspiracy that did it?

Removing a benefit needed by people with little resources is exactly the same in effect as raising the taxes on them. They have to pay more, and have less left to live on. The "cuts" demanded by the Republicans are an increase in taxes, but only on the poor.

Refusing to pay a contracted debt is the lowest form of dishonesty, even if you decided you don't like the deal. An honest person makes the payments until a better deal agreeable to both parties is arranged. Congress (not Obama) has totally failed to show any rational control over the contracts Congress has made and now just wants to walk away from the deals "they don't like" that they, themselves have made for us.

If you can't pay the bill, obviously more income is needed while the new deal is negotiated. It is the responsibility of Congress, and ONLY of Congress, to decide what the bills are and how (NOT WHETHER) they will be paid.

The argument that lower taxes will "stimulate employment" rings rather hollw when the RBs got a substantial tax cut fairly recently and employment, in real terms, has fallen steadily since. The only reductions we've seen in unemployment have been from those who "dropped out" so that they're no longer counted. (The Nazis just sent them to jail with the same effect.)

At the rate demonstrated by the reduction in the top incremental tax rate is any indication, one more tax cut for the rich and we'll have no place left for anybody to work (except probably Wall Street). The top rate was by no means "onerous." I paid it for many years myself.

Obama, or any other President, cannot be blamed for our condition. All he can do is take the money Congress gives him and pay the bills that Congress created.

It's time for the Republicans to participate in paying the existing bills and coming up with a plan to quit taking on new ones that are less than necessary. Reducing spending is done by not taking on new bills while paying off the ones you have, for honest people: not by ignoring obligations already assumed. Reducing debt, for the government, is accomplished by equitably taking a little more money from those who have it, if that is necessary.

The Tea Party is the logical extension of Lee Atwater's old strategy of using fake candidates to attack. At the time of the bailout the GOP was so morally bankrupt and had been caught with its hands in the cookies jar so many times that is only hope of survival and rebranding.

It is the Republican base, pissed off and renamed, led by the same people, using the same tactics.

Understand what Lee Atwater did for Bush I (Willie Horton, southern strategy) and you understand all you need to know about Tea Party strategy.

Yup - they want to get something for nothing.

"Taxes are what we pay for civilized society." - Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.

Holmes was hardly a member of the "far Left"

1/3 of the Tea Party is young people who want to dismantle entitlements because they don't think they will collect. 1/3 are middle class people who think they are financially secure and who do not want to reinvest in society. 1/3 are older people who are driven by their prejudices.

When the old third realizes the trick that the other 2/3s are playing on them. The poop will hit the blower.

The Dems, and the rational Republicans (a dying breed) have always realized that old farts are more careful to remember to vote than middle aged farts, and MAFs are more careful to do so than young farts, and have acted accordingly. The Tea Party people and the new crazy Republicans don't get it. Maybe after the next election they will.

Come the Revolution, I'm still shooting at both sides.

With the Tea Party in the picture, I may be shooting at all three.

Things will not get better as long as there are no term limits in Congress, so Congresspeople and Senators consider it a career, rather than something you do as a service, and then go away and stick someone else with it. And as long as the stupid American public votes for the candidate whose name they're most familiar with, rather than insisting on finding out the candidates' real position on the issues. The Congresspeople will always vote to please the people who will give them the most money, because they know they're guaranteed reelection as long as they can buy more advertising than the other guy.

We get what we deserve.

Tea Party is not new. It is not a third party. They are warmed over Republican fringe.

The Democratic Party is the only refuge for sensible people. But keep in mind how varied their base is. It ranges from fiscal conservatives like me who see the Republicans as radical and dangerous. To "minorities", to GBT, to actual socialists. The democratic base is impossible to please. The Republican base is easy to scare.

I am a tolerant person. I am against shooting people where it can be avoided. I am not against the Democrats.

The Tea Party/Republicans lie to me about economics, bully people and try to scare old people. Should they be shot for that? No, they should be warned to stop it before the guns come out.

Take Glen Beck, one month condemning the US health care system, the next praising it in opposition to Obama.

Good point about Lee Atwater. He recanted/regretted many of his dirty tricks at the end of his life, but his early self must have been the inspiration for Karl Rove and Dick Cheney. The thing about the tea party is that they are even out of Rove's control - much of it appalls him (!) - it's an overzealous movement of ideologues that is going to have to simply run its course.

SRS, I think it has run its course. The TP has made a horse's ass of itself. Really, how long did people think the Palins and her ilk last? They have blown their wad and along with it their credibility. I sewe them as little different than the third parties that emerged in the 1960s and 1970s. Perot, Chisholm, et.al.

America has problems caused by money--namely, where it is and how it got there. I see that as seminal to any discussion of politics at the federal or state level. Steal a thousand and ya go to jail. Steel a few billion and you OWN the jail where you ain't going.

As long as voting follows party lines, the American system will go as is, and the same people getting screwed by Republicans will then be screwed by Democrats. imo.

Taxes are at a 50 year all time low.

The divide between the Uber Rich and poor middle class is at an 80 year all time high.

The pretense that the grass roots Tea Party has suddenly gotten "fed" up with these all time low taxes and want US Corporate overseas taxes to be reduced to 5% from 15... is proposterous.

But apparently the tea party claims are good enough to make Joe believe the premise that the Tea party is about taxes. Ha

Corporate money goes a long way to present their needs and wants via a tea spokesperson. The regular folks who call themselves tea whatevers, were the Republicans who suffered from the unrelenting stupidity and crimes of George W and could not bring themselves to be Democrats. They could not remain Republican. So they became Tea given that thats what FOX NEWS suggested they do with FOX TEA rallies and FOX news Hannity meetings and Dick Army websites and Koch money think tanks devising new ways to retain the religious right wing base for Republicanism under a new flag.

These are the people who can never admit how much they supported Bush and how foolish that was.

So we are left with a population of people:
who lie to themselves about how taken in they were.
who are out of work despite thier faith in Limbaugh Bush and FOX.
who were stupid enough to believe Bush & neocons.
who still at heart believe all the Limbaugh propoganda.
who are deep in their gut scared of all non whites.
And finally desperate enough to believe the tea party is the answer to thier prayers.

With all these traits concentrated under one banner and underscored with no concept at all of what drives economics and what kills it,
we have one desperate, scared, self deluded and ignorant bunch of people who are buyig as much ammunition as they can get thier hands on.

They are ready and prepared to lash out, declare anarchy, carry guns to town halls and get what they are told that they want by saying NO NO NO until the parents give in and change the Constitution.

They will NOT ONLY cut off thier nose to spite thier face but they will cut off your head or the nation's head to express the pain they feel from the disfiguring poverty they have been plunged into as the result of the 2008 crash, which is only now getting close to the real bottom.

8888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888

Here are some things that the House freshmen are instrumental in cutting;

The Keck telescope has spent 5 Billion dollars but needs 2.5 billion more to finish it. Congress said "We are going to teach you a lesson about spending too much money!"   So thats 5 Billion wasted.

The FAA CR was ignored so 77,000 jobs were canceled. Tea Congress knew that Reagan fired air traffic controllers so they were being like Reagan. Trouble was the controllers are not involved, the workers furloughed are the construction workers and tax collectors who collect money from airlines. The taxes that go uncllected everyday is about 22 million dollars to this minute.

They cut anything to do with college assitance for the non wealthy.
They want to cut anything as long as its part of the Federal Government. Oops they even cut assistence to thier own State.
The House has failed pass 4 of thier own bills because they do not have the talented people who know how to write them or a leader who knows how to pass them.

Whats new is the House is dysfunctional en masse to a degree never seen before. Why? Maybe it was home schooling, maybe it was because the money given these guys to run was done without vetting. Even the Senate had Angle and McDonnel running.

Whats improved can be seen with your own eyes.

I was no fan of William F. Buckley, Jr. (founder and editor of The National Review and host of the television show, "Firing Line"), but he could be considered an "intellectual." Perhaps even the intellectual among Conservatives.

I am given to wonder what his view of the current Republican intransigence on the budget might be. I think he would be very distressed by the behavior of his own party. And the Tea Party? Probably that they are lowering the intelligence level and raising the volume of the Republican Party, neither of which he would approved of.

And of George W. Bush? Buckley would have been absolutely appalled!!

Buckley would first be pleased that the wealth of the Republic was concentrated in the hands of 400 men which have as much money as 60% of the entire population fo the USA. He would be pleased that pesky unions are being disbanded with the wave of Republican Govenors hands.

He would be distressed however that with the exception of prisons, privatized toll roads, privatized lake and ocean shores, privatized federal government,
there is not enough employed taxable wage slaves to tax enough in order to entitle the rich with a nation worth living in.

There is a case to be made that the Tea-O-Crat Party are fiscal terrorists. They are out to destroy government as we know it (The government of the United States), along with the Obama administration and replace it with a peculiar brand of theocracy, evidenced by their hyper-Calvinist obsession with cutting spending, which is well needed now to stimulate a jobless economy.

It is fitting the Theocrat Michelle Bachman is a religious figurehead followed by the rest of the congressmen who headed to the chapel to pray rather than vote for Obama's compromise.

I don't think Obama's compromise, that cuts SS, Medicare and Medicaid, taking the 1% rich elite off the hook is such a great deal either.

The Tea-O-Crat Party are the naughty bully boys in the schoolyard, claiming an ideology that's holier-than-thou even when they worship at the altar of Ayn Paul Ryan Rand.

Rourke blew up his own building and Ryan and Norquist have the same idea in mind.

Remember that out of the ashes often comes more ashes.

Solution is simple. C.C.C., W.P.A., bail out the screwed-over mortgage holders, pass the damn Ceiling without tying it to the cynical Repub politicking, and leave the New Deal in tact.

What ever happened to rational conservatives?

Is correct, and accurate. You've done your homework! I'm impressed!

Wouldn't it be great if those who needed to know that their 'slip is showing' could take it in?!?!

In regards to the Tea Party,..it won't matter anyway..as I said in another post dealing with the debt ceiling, what is going to come out of this, is the U.S., with all its 'two party compromises', will end up with the government handing over receivership of the debt to an 'international, globalist banking concern'....and everybody will go away 'happy'....and go away, with absolute rule, and control of our country, and under their rules. This IS and will be the result of the corruption of our 'representative' government. We have, for sometime now, had our 'representatives' not representing the 'will of the people'...but rather, acting as brokers, in regards to the 'laws' they back, and for what reason.....the highest bidder.
The Tea Party rank and file is mostly comprised of regular folks who thought they had nowhere else to turn. The Kosh's merely cashed in, with their efforts to gain control of them. As it stands now, there is NO group truly representing the people.....and by the way, as a country, we have already collapsed....and have not been informed fully, as of yet!
Just stay tuned, and watch...you'll see!
Meanwhile, I'm sure many of those lagging behind, will still be pointing fingers, at one party or the other...as designed...to keep reality from being addressed! As it stands now, we are in a world of hurt, and the ONLY thing keeping it afloat, is whatever 'remnants' of 'hope' you can muster up!.....until it's used up!!
You'll see!!!

Lisa Lerer's article http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-07-26/republican-leaders-voted-for-drivers-of-u-s-debt-they-now-blame-on-obama.html under the heading of News is a glaring example of Bias in the media. It is not news. It is on a level with opinions posted in a Blog.

Her tement that: "TARP, the $700-billion bailout of banks, insurance and auto companies, has cost less than expected. McConnell, Boehner, Cantor and Ryan all voted in October 2008 for the program, which stoked the rise of the Tea Party movement." Is *intellectually dishonest because you left out the names of the Democrats that voted for TARP including Obama, Biden, Clinton, Reid and 35 other Democrats in the Senate that voted for the final version and passed the bill. Also of pertinence is the fact that 25 Republicans voted Nay vs 8 Democrats.

She seems to have backed up her statements with hard data.

She certainly has more than proved this assertion.

Republican Leaders Voted for Debt Drivers They Blame on Obama

She also balanced that by quoting someone saying that the Democrats were to blame as well. She also let this piece of Bull Shit go unchallenged "Blaming Bush for the structural deficits we've known would come since the early 1990s is beyond irresponsible."

In a world where no one is blaming Blaming Bush for the structural deficits and the people who voted for

"Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts and Medicare prescription drug benefits. They also voted for the Troubled Asset Relief Program, or TARP, that rescued financial institutions and the auto industry. "

Are being blamed for CONTRIBUTING TO THE DEFICIT.

Keep in mind that Bloomberg is a paid financial news subscription service designed for money people. If Congressmen are being hypocritical about money. That is news. Especially if they are wasting all that special interest money that got them elected by looking like idiots to the US people.

They are acting like unselfaware idiots. Bloomberg is simply reporting that fact.

History of the Tea Party Movement

New Political Movement Quickly Finds Loyal Following

by Beth Rowen

Since its inception in February 2009, the Tea Party movement—with the help of viral videos and social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter—almost instantly found a large and loyal following that has gained traction and supporters.

In fact, Gallup poll in late March 2010 revealed that 28% of Americans have a positive perception of the Tea Party movement.

CNBC's Rick Santelli is widely credited with launching the grassroots movement. While standing on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange on February 19, 2009, he unleashed what can only be called a rant against the Obama Administration's proposal to help homeowners facing foreclosure refinance their mortgages. "Do we really want to subsidize the losers' mortgages?" he asked. "This is America! How many of you people want to pay for your neighbor's mortgage that has an extra bathroom and can't pay their bills?" He went on to suggest that he would organize a Chicago Tea Party in July, where capitalists would dump "some derivative securities into Lake Michigan." The video of his tirade became a YouTube hit, and thus the movement was born. Within weeks, Tea Party protests were sprouting up all over the country. The Tea Party name, a clear reference to the American colonists' dumping of tea into Boston Harbor to protest taxes imposed by King George, stands as an acronym as well: Taxed Enough Already.

Santelli, however, can't claim credit as the sole mastermind of the movement. Prior to his appearance in Chicago, Keli Carender, a Seattle at-home mother also known as Liberty Belle, had been using her blog to get the word out about the populist "Porkulus Protest" she was organizing against President Barack Obama's proposed $750 billion stimulus package. About 100 people showed up for her event in mid-February. Similar events inspired by both Santelli and Carender, followed in quick succession in Denver; Mesa, Ariz.; Tampa, Fla.; and other cities. Tea Party organizers claim that the first nationwide Tea Party protest took place on February 27, 2009, with coordinated events occurring in more than 40 cities.

These protests were merely dress rehearsal for the Tea Party events planned for April 15, 2009: tax day. Few can agree on the number of events held throughout the country; the number ranges from 200 to 750, with total attendance ranging from about 250,000 to more than a half-million. Some protests, such as the one in Atlanta, Georgia, attracted crowds of several thousand; others drew just a handful. A protest outside the White House was broken up by police when a demonstrator threw a box of tea bags over the fence.

Protests against the stimulus package, the bank bailouts, and health-care legislation continued throughout 2009, with major events held on July 4 and September 12. During the summer, Tea Party protesters were criticized for their disruptive outbursts during meetings held by members of Congress in their home districts to discuss health-care reform.

Tea Partiers detest all things big: big government, big business, big national debt, big taxes. They express hostility toward the elite and outrage that the government has come to the aid of Wall Street while ignoring the plight of Main Street. Most Tea Partiers consider themselves citizen activists who are part of a grassroots movement that is organized from the bottom up—small groups united under a shared ideology. The movement claims no national leader or figurehead. Some say that Sarah Palin assumed the role as #1 Tea Partier when she delivered the keynote address at the first Tea Party Convention in February 2010 in Nashville. Some 600 people attended the full convention, and another 500 sat in on Palin's speech only. "America is ready for another revolution," she said. In a barb pointed at President Barack Obama, she said the movement is "about the people, and it's bigger than any one king or queen of a tea party, and it's a lot bigger than any charismatic guy with a teleprompter."

Some members of the movement accused Tea Party Nation, the group that organized the convention, of attempting to profit from the event: tickets cost $549 to attend, and Palin received a reported $100,000 speaker's fee (which Palin said "will go right back to the cause"). Several sponsors and speakers backed out of commitments in the days and weeks leading up to the event. Representatives Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) and Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) were among the speakers to cancel their appearances.

While the Tea Party movement claims to be a grassroots movement, FreedomWorks, a powerful conservative organization headed by former congressman Dick Armey, seems to play an important role behind the scenes and serves as clearinghouses for information on protests. Call it the right's answer to MoveON.org.

While Democrats are usually the target of Tea Partiers' ire, Republicans have not always been spared. In New York, many members of the movement endorsed third-party candidate Doug Hoffman in the 2009 special election for the House seat vacated by John McHugh, over the moderate Republican candidate, Dede Scozzafava, pro-choice and a backer of gay marriage. Their plan backfired: Scozzafava withdrew from the race, and Democrat Bill Owens went on to win the election, albeit narrowly.

The ranks of Tea Party members grew in Congress throughout 2010. The movement's first major victory of the year occurred in January in Massachusetts—perhaps the bluest of the blue states—when Republican Scott Brown defeated Democrat Martha Coakley in the Senate race to fill the seat vacated after the death of Sen. Ted Kennedy. Brown somewhat distanced himself from the Tea Party during the race, but as he positioned himself as an outsider who would vote to block a vote on health-care reform, the movement claimed him as one of their own. In July Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) got the go-ahead from the House leadership to form a Tea Party Caucus. Twenty-eight Republicans joined the group. In November's midterm elections, voters elected Kentucky's Rand Paul and Florida's Marco Rubio to the Senate. Exit polls on election day indicated that four out of ten voters have a favorable opinion of the party.

Voters, however, rejected some high-profile Tea Party candidates. Delaware's Christine O'Donnell, a conservative—and controversial—social activist who upset highly regarded political veteran Rep. Mike Castle in the September primary, was defeated in the general election by Democrat Christopher Coons. Sharron Angle, another controversial Tea Partier, lost her bid to unseat Harry Reid, the Senate majority leader from Nevada.
Love them or hate them, few can dispute that the Tea Partiers have altered the political landscape and turned business as usual in Washington on its head.

>>revealed that 28% of Americans have a positive perception of the Tea Party movement.<<

The same 28% that thinks that Obama was born in Kenya and conspired with his father to become President when he was three years old?

Four out of ten is obviously 40%, about the same as Obama's approval rating, which will be dropping like a rock if he shuts down the Federal government over his demand for huge tax increases, rather than the needed control of proflagate spending.

Obama's job approval rating drops to new low, poll shows

NEWSCORE
Posted: 4:43 PM, July 29, 2011

PRINCETON, N.J. -- President Barack Obama's job approval rating hit a new low of 40 percent this week as the debt crisis dragged on in Washington, a sharp slide from his 50 percent approval rating earlier this month, according to a Gallup Daily tracking poll released Friday.

According to Gallup, Obama's previous low was 41 percent, which he hit most recently in April.

"The inability of US lawmakers to agree on the debt ceiling has apparently shaken Americans' confidence in the economy and now seems to be taking its toll on the president's public support, with Obama's approval rating at a new low," Gallup said in its statement releasing the poll numbers.

The poll was conducted by phone from Tuesday through Thursday with a random sample of 1,463 adults living in the US.

As recently as June 7, Obama had a 50 percent job approval rating, Gallup said.

Among Democrats, however, Obama's job approval rating is much higher at 72 percent, Gallup reported. Among independents, 34 percent approve of his performance, compared with 13 percent of Republicans.

Everyone in government from the dog catcher up is taking a beating in the polls... Big deal...

But what people are the most pissed over is that we have systemic problems all over the board that allows:

1. safe voting districts

2. primary voters, who tend to be the most angry, to elect the next _____________ (pick an elected position)

3. that big $$$ always wins and

4. for minority tyranny where the wishes of 41 senators out weighs the wishes of the other 59

Address these problems and we might get back to something more like what the Founding Fathers had in mind: ****Democracy***!!!

I guess the question one needs to ask themselves is this, "Do you trust our government?"

Leave one party or the other OUT of it.

There's your clue!

No the question that should be asked is "Why is so much money being spent on publicity campaigns to get us to distrust the government."

That's it, JtS... There is so much anti-government crap being rammed down our throats that we are in danger of becoming a "failed nation" down the road... We need a "disclosure law" to make the folks, foreign or domestic, who are peddling this shit have to come out from the shadows... I mean, we could be watching anti-government ads being run by countries that are not exactly our friends...

This is very messed up...

Hey, you hate American and want to run ads??? Great??? Don't do it like cowards... Step up and say who you are... I mean, a man gets to face his accuser... Why not out country???

I think we should all join the Republican Party and work to revive its noble traditions. All these neoconservatives like the Tea Party have completely ruined the credibility and tradition of the Republicans. We need a sane, balancing, conservative voice in our country.
