Hi folks,

In the mid 1980's I was at a pub in rural Aberdeenshire and a man sung a song about the generations of a family who moved from farming to fishing to the offshore oil industry.

Can anyone shed any light on the name of the song from this bare bones description?

Cheers,
Derek.
