Anniversary 38 years and the very last Chemo treatment is done .. can check that off my to do list now ... Thank you God on to radiation in a month ... so far great.

Last Saturday we went to a wedding of a young couple that she works with. At the table someone asked "do you two remember your wedding"
I immediately replied "No, all I remember is being at woodstock and someone said smoke this and I woke up married with kids and had to go to work" .. the table burst out laughing .. my misses kicked me one under the table then said see all the years he still makes me laugh with his insanity ...

Well, on October 6 we will have been married (to each other!) for 38 years. On October 7 it will begin 39 years. Seems like it was only yesterday...wait...here's a bill from a hypnotist...by George, it WAS only yesterday!

I'd like to wait for you Dan but time won't stop. Felicitation on your 38 and best to your wife's recovery to good health. I was hoping to go for the first time to the Mudcat gathering but then realized that it will be our 40th on Oct 2nd. Next year I hope.

My wife's doing okay. She quit taking the AI medicine because it was making matters worse, and she's not on chemo or radiation (that's what gave her her first cancer!). Basically she's decided to watch and wait and if something kicks up have something done about it then.

Well, J-boy and I will be celebrating 13 years in October. We don't remember the anniversary of our first date, so we pick a random date each year. Also good for Jason so he doesn't have to worry about remembering the date.

44 years this past June, and "going together" for nearly five years before that. We're hoping to be able, in about another 13 months, to climb the same mountain on top of which we "hooked up" on 9/23/62.

They pulled the med port out of her today ... yup ... check that one off my list also .. things are looking up ... fer sure .. now get the radiation done and then take that whatever pill for five years ...

That thing they put into her the medi port thing ... man that hurt when they pulled it out .. ouch ... stitched her up and sent her home and said good job

Our 46 years of marriage (plus seven more since we first crashed into each other on the ice at Queen's Ice Rink in London in 1958) has been punctuated by two battles with breast cancer, from which Winnie emerged triumphant and is now eight years clear, so I know what you must be feeling now.

We clock up 43 years on 2nd November. You get far less for murder!
My PS score last week is down to 0.26%. Blood tests twice a year now and no more fingers. Thank God and modern medicine.

Well thanks to the well wishers. It's my 11th today. That was the day it was officially decreed in Queen's Bench. I declared it official at 00:30, May 17, 2009 when I said... "WTF? That is the last straw."

But I had to pay a lawyer far more than the $20 it cost for the marriage license. I've said it before... the license should cost at least a hundred grand and go on account.
