I am considering singing this Phil Ochs song tonight as a commentary on the UK riots. It is uncanny how accurately the lyrics reflect what has happened - even the Mayor is mentioned along with the comments in the newspapers.

I'll probably use the version from Judy Collins' fifth album which is edited and somewhat shorter than that shown in the DT.
