Yep, that was it. Funny I could get in first with IE and then with Chrome butnot Opera, but Opera now functioning

Richard's powers of prediction or perhaps he has wormholed into the future. If the latter that explains why he can't get into current facebook. It doesn't exist yet.

Mudcat is different. All time is then and now and all place is here and there, simultaneously.

Hi Richard I had the same problem. I solved it by doing the following

Click On Tools, Internet Options...

On the General Tab, click on the Delete... button under the Browsing History

Put a tick next to Temporary Internet Files and also Cookies. Then click on the delete button.

When that has been done, close Internet Explorer and then open it again. You should be alright then.

I can't get in off gmail either. Either facebook has a problem or my IPaddress has been blocked.

I'll reboot and wait a bit and try again later.

Hmm. Odd. I can't get in and I can't set up a new identity either. Maybe they've decided to block my webmail provider - they did that once before when I was using sharpmail as a cutout. I'll try again with a gmail account.
