Subject: Waves of the Sahara From: Marie memoes@inst.augie.edu Date: 26 Sep 99 - 01:16 PM I am searching for the artist of this song that has lyrics that SOUND something like this.... ....I'll see the skies above..cross the waves of the Sahara.... ...you can fined your damned.....cross the waves of the Sahara..... It is a female artist....I think she is Indonesian. I saw her on a "Sessions at West 54th" tv show...but I can't find any information from them. They never mentioned the title of the song or her name or the CD's name. Can anyone please help me?? The song was familiar when I heard it, so I don't think it is that new. It may have been around for awhile. I wish I could convey the melody. Please, help me. I know this isn't much to go on, but the song is popular. Maybe it will click with someone. Thank you so very much for reading this and for any help or advice you can offer. I sincerely appreciate it. Marie Moes Sioux Falls, SD |
