I've been watching the series, Emily of New Moon, based on the books by the author of Anne of Green Gables. It is just as good, in a way, better, imo. Anyway, there is a song, which is meant to be Scottish and sounds it, of which there are snippets through several episodes, then in Season 2, Episode 2 "And so shall they reap," Martha MacIsaac, the actress who plays Emily, sings the song in full in a school presentation. It is a hauntingly beautiful song and her voice is so pure and exquisite. I'd love to learn it. I cannot find any mention of it at IMDB, nor in a search here. Also, it isn't among what I found on youtube. Some of the words I was able to jot down included:

Carry my soul to the heart of the rose

and:

I'll be on the hillside where the heather grows

Kat, go to that on Google. Much music from the show appears on the page's right side. Maybe it's in there.

If I have a bit of time later I'll try from the bottom us and listen for either of those phrases.

Thanks, Bruce, but youtube didn't have that particular episode or song, that I could find. I could watch the episode and stop and start it to get them. I just was hoping it was old and someone would know it.:-)
