There are "Four Greek Folk Songs" set to music some years ago by Matyas Seiber, with English lyrics by Peter Carroll. I have a hunch the Greek lyrics and original tune are much nicer. Does anyone know the origins of this song: O Your Eyes are Dark and Beautiful? (Leads for the other 3 songs are O My Love, How long; Have Pity on Me; Each Time, My Love, You Say Farewell appreciated also).
