Fay Hield will be presenting a 2 hour radio show on Friday September 2nd from 10.00 am - 12 noon

Listen live on 93.2FM in the Sheffield area, and via the internet elsewhere on http://www.sheffieldlive.org

The show should also be archived for later listening.

Thanks for the tip; I'll try to listen to it. Pity that the Sheffield Live website still promotes the August 18 radio show with Roy Bailey as lastest news and doesn't mention today's show with Fay Hield...

I agree.

And what makes it worst is that it isn't even being broadcast.

We are run on a shoe string - but this is ridiculous.

I just downloaded the podcast for the first half of the show: an mp3 file with 60 minutes of silence. Seems the whole station is automated so much that there isn't any operator control at all.

Well I'm listening to the Looking Glass CD now. Must make the best of staying at home :-)

Hi Reinhard,

We are not totally automated (I broadcast live each week) but we do have a lot of automation. What threw this out was a power cut through the whole building.

As soon as this is available as a podcast I will let you know.

There's still just white noise on the podcast. Will you re-broadcast this programme tomorrow?

Hi Reinhard. I don't actually know! Sorry. If it isn't reloaded then the next in the "Guest series is Jon Boden. Fingers crossed.
