The link should already be on our website, but if you want to look for it manually, you need to check amazon.com US rather than UK. It costs $8.45 or £5.25 approx so value for money!

East London Chorus
should give you information about our concerts, the next one is Vivaldi's Gloria on October 15th, at the Actor's Church, St Pauls, Covent Garden.

As for the carol book, try clicking here,
take the reference number and go from there. I will see if we can put a link into our website. Of course, once we get our supplies, we can sell you a copy direct!

Perhaps the links to the various Amazon pages could be put in the Quik Links.

I've purchased Liz's book and look forward to using it this Christmas season.

Hi, Leeneia -
I don't know how to link to an item at Amazon so Mudcat gets credit, and I don't know if your link will work. These are the links from the "Support the Mudcat" page (that you reach by clicking on the banjo catfish):I understand from Max that Amazon is a significant source of support for Mudcat.

Ps. just tried that link to Amazon & it's the USA webpage. Searched the UK one & couldn't find it. Is it for sale in the UK ????

AND, don't forget Mudcatters, always use the link to Amazon at the base of the support the Mudcat page, Mudcat gets a cut!!

So wish I could join you but Tuesdays are always a worknight. Happy memories of Vivaldi's Gloria & many others from previous choirs. Bet you make a good noise! Please put up links for your performances, might get along to listen one day. Good luck!

Congratulations, Squeak! That is a wonderful accomplishment.

Everyone, be sure to buy it using the Amazon page which gives the Mudcat a cut:

http://www.amazon.com/?ie=UTF8&%2AVersion%2A=1&tag=themudcatcaf&link_code=hom&%2Aentries%2A=0

(not sure if this works in every country, but give it a try)

Yes, Tony, tenors always welcome!

We practice on Tuesday nights, 7.30pm at the Docklands campus of UEL, easily reached by the DLR or with ample parking. Term starts on Tuesday 6th September and we're rehearsing Vivaldi's Gloria for a concert in October. Music scores and break time refreshments are provided.

The ability to read music is a definite plus, but ability to cope and vocal ability is valued just as much. Come along and give us a try.

Animaterra - thank you for the kind comments, please let us know how you get on with them and if you use any of David Threasher's arrangements.

For anyone who wants to hear them, we're making a CD in a few weeks which will be available for sale via our website, or we're providing music for diners at the Ritz Hotel, in the West End during December!

Thanks.

(Should read, "Kudos")...

I just received my copy of the East London Chorus Carol Book (edited by our own Liz the Squeak) and I'm delighted! Mostly very familiar carols, some new arrangements, and all of highest quality. Congratulations to Liz the Squeak for an excellent job!

Now I gotta find me an S, a T and a B so I can sing some of them!
