Subject: Young'Uns at Goole Folk Sail weekend Sept 3rd
From: GUEST,Gail
Date: 03 Sep 11 - 06:32 AM

The Folk Sail festival is under way this weekend at Goole's Yorkshire Waterways Museum.
There's no charge to enter the museum/informal afternoon music sessions. Short boat trips are also available.
The two evening concerts are held on board one of the museum's boats (don't worry, it's big and securely moored!)
Last night's concert by Isambarde was great and well attended.

Tonight's concert is the brilliant Young'Uns and some tickets are still available.

The many people who enjoyed Chris Sherburn and his mum's talk at Whitby Folk Week about restoring his Humber Keel may like to know that this museum is where Chris's boat is currently berthed and he's around this weekend chatting about boats (and no doubt anything else that enters his head).

Alas, Gary, the Museum is long gone, along with the vessels, and there is very little in the way of folk in Goole these days.
