Jenny, There may be a programme of sorts nearer the time, though it will be fairly flexible ,so that it isnt like a package tour, I want it to sort of run itself to a point, but vaguely, a sing / sesh on the friday evening, a walk is planned for the Saturday, during the day with more singing and music, Saturday night get your acts polished for a fun Cabaret - and we are planning a meal that evening too. On Sunday we plan to have a sesh at lunchtime and then wind it up by 4pm. Bude Folk Club alternates their club night with Bude Jazz Club, the Sunday night is Jazz Club, so dont plan to run on into the evening. I am sure that in True Budefolk style the weekend will be packed with lots of great music and song and heaps of good humour.

Lucy, do we have some sort of a program? When do things start? And how much happens on the Sunday, and how late does it go? We tentatively booked Sunday night as well, because we don't want to have to rush off early, but it isn't the special price. We have the option to cancel that night if we want. If there's a lot happening on Sunday, or something to stay for late in the day, we might go for the 3rd night, regardless of the expense. It's a good 2 hours to drive back home.

Looks very interesting! But is it March or Feb? Thread title is Feb, and the hotel info says March. My guess is Feb, since the dates are right for that month.

Budefolk are organising a 'winter warmer weekend', along the lines of the Voice Tour weekends, with singing, music, walks, cabaret, laughter, drinking and all the usual stuff all based in The Falcon Hotel, Bude, who have done us an amazing deal. Rooms - all ensuite, incl B & B - Single £25 per night (Fri & Sat Night) Double £50 per night (Fri & Sat) and 4 poster double with luxury aqua spa bath £70 per night (Fri & Sat) Friday 3rd March 2012 to Sunday 5th March 2012. It looks like being a great weekend, places are limited to the number of rooms available at the hotel, so book your place direct with the hotel on 01288 352005 as soon as possible.
Of course you are welcome to come along and join us for all or part of the weekend, even if you are not staying at the hotel, the more the merrier.
