I have loaded a couple of the Cajun Capers radio progs on a listen again website. The gig data are somewhat out of date.

Other Francophone pronuciations are also available!
(the quality of the jokes can go DOWN as well as down)

But the music is pure Cajun.

Thanks for that Mr Red, you do play some great music.
But you just better pray that they dont bring back hanging - your French pronunciation and those 'jokes' will see your neck stretched for sure.
'Most common owl in Britain' - jeeze! Where's my gun?
And thank you too for playing Jesse Lege AND Bobby Michot. Two of the finest cajun musicians alive.
(and Bobby will go down in history as the man wid da 'cojones' to tell that nice Mr Ancelet what he thought of him (on air, too) :-)

Being the last passenger to board one of those flat bottomed boats for a 'Tour of the Bayou', I was asked by the guide to shut the large wire mesh gate behind me. "Is that to keep the gators out?" I enquired.
"Shucks no, its ta keep the State Bird from flying in" he replied.
I innocently asked what the State Bird was.
"Da mosquito" he said.
I guess you had to be there..... :-)
