With the Woolpack out of action for furbishment there seem to be fewer song sessions than ever. Has anyone any ideas where we can congregate and do it ourselves?

Would there not be a singaround/session at the pub that the Tenterden Folk Club have been using while the Woolpack is out of action? I'm afraid I can't remember the name of it.

I think that will be the Vine, Caxton, or White Lion, in which case the answer is "only sometimes". What we want of course is the 8 Bells back from the dratted restaurateurs.

Could not agree more Richard and it ain't even a good cafe, more Rest Room than Restaurant. We are hoping to get to Tenterden if we can.

i found the sessions so full last year i gave up, let alone with one less venue.i wonder on reflection whwther i could have parked myself on the street/green and played to whoever might stop and listen!?.

Having looked at the programme, it looks like the singaround session run by Bob Kenward will be in the William Caxton and there will be a morris music/song session in The Vine.

Blair Dunlop and Ashley Hutchings are playing on the Thursday evening - for some very slick guitar playing watch them!!
