hi been a long time since I was on Mudcat but must tell you all of a new festival in Kinross this year in and around Kinross. lots of different stuff happening . Visit the web site for info. Watch out for a new trio, Third Voice, Three women who have a great blend of voices in tight hamony.they will be doing a couple of sets and of course causing trouble in the sessions.

Ah yes, Kinross; my first performance in Scotland was at the hotel there. The land lady tried to stiff me on my fee, but Gordon Menzies put her in her place.
I do love Scotland and the Scots, (With one or two exceptions)

Third Voice will be performing at two venues on Sat 19th. First set is at Kirklands at 1.00pm. The second venue is The Grouse and Claret at 4.00pm.
Angie Wright may do the odd solo spot as well. And of course they will be adding strength to other sessions during the day.

The way that programme is displayed on the web is unusually well designed. (Grid layout for the timetable, click on a cell and it takes you to the full description of the event). I'd like to see that catch on.

latest news on THIRD VOICE is that they are hoping to get together for one of the Friday night sessions at the Pitcairn Green Pub. then again at one of the sessions at the Amber Festival in Dunkeld in late Oct.They had hoped to get in on the Open Stage but were a bit late and are first reserve for Nov 1st

Time is moving on and the little festival is filling up nicely with lots of interesting acts.
THIRD VOICE are putting the final touhes to their sets should be a treat.
Watch out for the Cats Jook Band saw them recently ,very entertaining.

Donkeys years since I used to go to Kinross Festival but camping so I don't think it was November?
Just looked at the website. I'm in the RSPB but not the RSPBA

Angie Wright , singer songwriter and part of Third Voice will be performing solo on Friday 18th Nov at The Thistle Hotel Function Room Milnathorp from 7.00pm - 8.00pm.

Third Voice are on Saturday at the Kirklands in Kinross at 1.00 - 2.00pm

and at the Grouse and Claret at 4.00- 5.00pm.

So lots of opportunity to hear good music and song.
