Subject: Melodeon / Accordian swap anyone? From: Dave the Gnome Date: 18 Sep 11 - 05:06 PM I have a Hohner C/C# melodeon that I never play other than to pick out a couple of tunes every now and again. I have played a piano accordian before and quite fancy another - probably a 48 or 60 bass. Anyone either want to do a swap with money either way or just buy the melodeon? It os not realy a question of the money - I just don't want too many instruments that I don't play cluttering the place up! Due to weight / delvery constraints I think we are restricted to the UK but I could meet anyone within a couple of hours radius of Manchester or Bradford - And I will be travelling to Whitby in a couple of weeks. Just PM me or post here if interested. Cheers Dave |

I've already got a Hohner Corso C/C# that's rarely used, and both of my 48 bass accordions are out on semi-permanent loan... so if you're offered a blue or red 48 bass Delicia, speak to me first... they may be mine!! ;o) |

Subject: RE: Melodeon / Accordian swap anyone? From: Dave the Gnome Date: 19 Sep 11 - 05:04 PM BTW - Lookes like I may be PX-ing at Hobgoblin. Any idea how much for the C/C# in PX for a circa £250 accordian? D |
Subject: RE: Melodeon / Accordian swap anyone? From: Bernard Date: 19 Sep 11 - 06:50 PM Depends upon the model - fortunately C/C#'s are starting to get popular with Irish players who have preferred B/C models until recently. A Corso like mine (musette tuning, 3 reeds per note) might fetch around £150.00 in decent nick, possibly more on eBay. Hobgoblin might sell it for you rather than a PX... although the festival season is pretty much over. |
