Ben has put some soundbites up on Youtube, but possibly under some pseudonym, as we cannot find him there. Chris Wood is one of his big influences, as is Martin Simpson. He lost interest in guitar for a while, but has been inspired to take it up again, thanks to having a tutor who is better than he is. We must bring him to one of your evenings.

Hi Richard, yes, have heard Ben but not for some time, when TDL played at the Goosethree years ago Ben did a song or two as well, I remember thinking he was good then, maybe I shouild seek him out , try find a youtube clip or a soundfile somewhere. sounds like he's come on, don't remember him sounding kike Chris Wood. :-D

A propos, Nygel, have you heard young Ben Little up close and personal?   A fine very young singer/guitarist with a chocolate voice strongly reminiscent of Chris Wood. I think he'd do very well in the Mag and if you have support slots there I think you might consider him (despite his association with the spotty ones (grin)).
