"Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness", etc. The late sun in Sussex is wonderful at the moment, and my apple tree is laden with ripe fruit. But... the first leaves of autumn are falling - which is a cue for a tune:

This, of course, is a French tune - hence the beret hiding unruly English hair.
