October festivals? (US)

I'm looking to go somewhere new and interesting later in the month, and was thinking about planning my trip around a festival. Any suggestions? Any type of traditional music would be great. Thanks!

Yes..not a festival but a small camp. Come to Sunnycamp this weekend..oops later in the month won't work..have to come this weekend..great folks from Canada, Washington, Oregon..no Californians this year..what is really nice about this camp is that it does introduce people to others in other cities and towns..in small proportions..so we have 3 from here and 5 from here and 2 from here, which makes it all very interesting. My disappointment has always been that we do not attract local people sufficiently. Just email me at [e-mail] if you can make it..mouth of Columbia River..not me, the camp.    mg
