A SONG FOR WALL STREET
To the tune of : "Clementine" !!!

In the Valley
Of the Bankers
Locking elbows
Marching FREE
Rose a Sea of 99ers
"GIVE US BACK--
DEMOCRACY!!!"

In the Valley
Of the Slavers
The Oppressors
Of our Kin
Rose a Sea of 99ers
"WE WILL TAKE
IT BACK AGAIN!!!"

I like it... Needs more verses but, then again, once you get it going the verses come easily...

Thanks...

B~

Yes, it needs more verses, but I'm part of 'everybody', and so are you. Some verses won't work, but people will sing the ones that do.

In the valley
Of the mighty
Who rule
Without our say
99ers sing together
"WE WILL TAKE
IT BACK TODAY!"

If the people don't mind
and the poor folks don't mind.
We can spend a little time
cheating all of mankind
we'll leave them all behind
and do-o one-ne    more wrong

OH WONT YOU PAY AY AY
just a little bit longer
pleeze pleeze pay,
just a little bit more
WHoa o o whoa o o

We'll speed up foreclosures.
and evict the dumb hosers
start the bull dozers
push the protestors
One-ne more time

So people PAY,
just a little bit longer
Pleeze pleeze pay
just a little bit more.

Sung to tip toe through the tulips, blues standard or Joe Hill/with minor lyric edits:

The think tank song

The think tanks, bought by Wall St., told the people
You can all have loans
For houses
That you all want
To buy.
[As above} The think tanks, bought by Wall St. told the people - Get a second loan - Cuz your house has value - to sell.
The think tanks, bought by Wall St., told the people - Buy derivatives - For profits - That no one can
Explain.
The think tanks, bought by Wall St., told the people    - We need all your cash - for bailouts – its all your fault – deadbeat.
The think tanks, bought by Wall St., told the people - Blame the immigrants – blame liberals – blame Obama – not US.
The think tanks, bought by Wall St., told the people - You can't have any – of all those – entitlements – no more.

The High Court, bought by Wall St., told the people – that Bush beat Gore – so go home – the election - is done.
The High Court, bought by Wall St., told the people – that corporations – are people – that have more rights – than you.
The High Court, bought by Wall St., told the people – that money is speech – so shut up – it's the money – that talks.
The High Court, bought by Wall St., told the people – unlimited cash – will elect – our candidates – HA HA!

The Honest, taught the people, de moc racy – was vanquished by rich – for profits - far too large – to spend.   THE END by Don Hakman
