I was trying to find the Mudcat link to Amazon. It took a little more finding than it should have done; needs to be more prominent.

It's the UK version I'm looking for.
Found it eventually (Do you know where to find these links?)

Anyway, the thing is the UK link aint workin' ----denied access.

So, is it now dead or is there a fixable issue?

BTW, it still seems to be OK for you guys in the US!

The problem is that only the USA link appears to be functional. The other three result in the following:

403 Forbidden
Browsing for / is locked out by server configuration.

I have used successfully both the USA and the UK link in the recent past, so suppose there is a broken link or some such issue.

Interesting ! The Mudcat Logo (Click Me) only works to USA , but there IS a UK link at the top of the page !

I just bought a load of books recently and tried to access Amazon through Mudcat's UK link but got 403'd, so I finally just went in their normal front door instead of the Cat flap.

Guru's link works for me - at least I get there through it, tho I can't tell whether it means Mudcat still gets its cut, but assume/hope so.

Until the link can be fixed, could someone just put this address on that page as text, and let the faithful copy-paste (which I tried on several different browsers and it seems to work):

I wouldn't touch Amazon with the proverbial bargepole. It's been widely known for a long time now about how badly they treat their workers (lousy wages, rotten working conditions, no union recognition etc). Now it turns out the buggars don't even pay taxes in the UK, in spite of the enormous revenue they earn over here.

Since we can't picket or occupy Amazon, in the way which happened with Starbucks recently, it seems to me the only answer is to refuse to deal with them.
