Leslie (my father)made songs in his head rather than writing them down.Some covered events, eg climbing Everest,some based on Aesop's fables, some Child ballads.I've got the words to some of his songs, but not all. Looking for Adam Brown and Andrew Young.Also, which Child ballads are some based on?

You may remember that we met a fair number of years ago in Belfast. Several of your father's songs were in Spin and I think I can trace some of those. I have a feeling that somewhere among my reel to reel tape collection there is at least one performance by Leslie. I'll have to take a look

Thanks.I have access to most of what's in print e.g. Tiger Gordon, Sunshine in Spin. I'm also in touch with Hughie & Tony.I'd be interested to know what you've got on reel to reel.
