Personally I was more impressed by the KLF, they did a bunch of pop records which were fun, but didn't agree with them burning a million pounds of their own money as a piece of performance art.

There was a thread about it about a month back. Most people weren't particularly impressed by the stunt, but there was quite a bit of discussion of who they might be, and what purpose it might serve.
