Subject: RE: Healing thoughts for JohnnySilvo From: Pete Jennings Date: 29 Oct 11 - 09:31 AM I don't know if Johnny is well known outside of Europe, but he is a wonderful performer and has been a stalwart on the UK folk circuit for as long as I can remember (which is a long time!). See this site (his agent) for news of his progress. Pete |

Subject: RE: Healing thoughts for JohnnySilvo From: Arnie Date: 31 Oct 11 - 07:37 AM Bloody cancer! One of our folk club members has just beaten it, only for another member to be diagnosed with it! Cancer Research UK is one of the few charities I donate to, in the hope that one day they'll come up with the 'magic bullet'. There are new drugs appearing every year and a lot of cancers are now curable thanks to new advances. Johnny has been our guest a few time and is always really positive and full of energy. That's half the battle - the other half is decent healthcare which I'm sure he's receiving. So best wishes Johnny and get well soon! |
