Sounding Board Coffeehouse Closed for Rest of 2011

The Sounding Board has canceled the remaining concerts for 2011 and will
reopen with Christine Lavin on January 7, 2012.

For those who do not know, Brent Hall, the sound man and President of the Sounding Board Coffeehouse was struck in the head by a falling tree on Saturday, October 29 at the concert.
He has a fractured skull and 2 fractured ribs. He has had 2 surgeries to
relieve pressure on the brain. He is responsive but sleepy.

Please let others know that the Sounding Board is closed until 2012.

We do not know the long term prognosis, but his brother should be talking to the neurologist sometime today or this weekend and he will pass the info on to us.
The funny thing is, October 30 would have been the 1 year anniversary of his other serious accident suffered at the Sounding Board. How bizarre is that?

The only reason I asked, was I was trying to work out if it was in the states or the UK.
