Subject: RE: Best way to edit a song. From: Arthur_itus Date: 07 Nov 11 - 08:25 AM Hi Will Downloaded it and within a couple of minutes had loaded a song cut a portion of the song and created a new file. Dead easy. Thanks for your great suggestion. Les |
Subject: RE: Best way to edit a song. From: Arthur_itus Date: 07 Nov 11 - 08:10 AM Thanks very much Will. I will have a look at Audacity and see if I can do it. If not, I would love to take you up on your kind offer. Les |
Subject: RE: Best way to edit a song. From: Will Fly Date: 07 Nov 11 - 07:54 AM Audacity is free - allows cuts and fades - works on Mac and PC platforms. If you get stuck, mail me an mp3 with appropriate instructions and I'll do it for you. PM if necessary. |
Subject: Best way to edit a song. From: Arthur_itus Date: 07 Nov 11 - 07:53 AM My daughter has to compose a dance to a piece of music that she chosen. The dance is only 1 and a half minutes long. So she has to take 1 and a half minutes of the tune that matches exactly to the dance. Neither of us know how to edit a song or tune to get exactly what part is required. Does anybody know of a free piece of software that would allow her to cut the part out that she requires and is simple to use. Many thanks Les |
