Not terribly interesting, I suppose, but I have a memory of reading the Mad Magazine spoof of the Alfred hitchcock movie, "The Birds". Just before the school teacher is done in by the birds, she is leading her class in "Let's All Sing Like the Birdies Sing".

Haven't heard this song in over forty years! When I was quite young, an old b&w cartoon used to air on local television with one of those "follow the bouncing ball" sing-alongs - it might have been a Max Fleischer cartoon (brain is a bit hazy here). But, that's when I first learned the tune.

Thank you for bringing back a warm and fuzzy memory.

But dickybirds? Don't think I want to go there! ; - )
