Subject: RE: Glasgow Ballad Workshop- 27th November From: Anne Neilson Date: 23 Nov 11 - 09:03 PM Absolutely final call for participants! Our ballad is one of ancient family loyalties and perceived insult -- if you recognise the scenario from your own circumstances, then do book in for advice on how to cope..... Warm welcome guaranteed, despite workshop subject matter! |

Subject: RE: Glasgow Ballad Workshop- 27th November From: Anne Neilson Date: 18 Nov 11 - 07:51 AM Would be lovely to see you, if you can manage it. This is the last workshop of 2011, but there are three on the three Sundays of Celtic Connections (although we're absolutely independent) -- from mid-January to early February 2012. Thereafter we're back to the final Sunday of the month. |
Subject: RE: Glasgow Ballad Workshop- 27th November From: Banjiman Date: 18 Nov 11 - 04:08 AM We're going to try and get to one of your workshops...... just trying to arrange a visit to the In-Laws (who live in Glasgow) to coincide. Paul & Wendy Arrowsmith |
Subject: RE: Glasgow Ballad Workshop- 27th November From: Anne Neilson Date: 17 Nov 11 - 09:32 PM Delighted with the level of interest so far - and almost a third of those signed up are YOUNG (under 35!), which can only be a good thing when talking about unaccompanied singing of traditional songs. Anyway, it encourages me! |
