Subject: RE: Guitar for the protest camper From: John MacKenzie Date: 28 Nov 11 - 09:21 AM What a very lawyerly response Richard. I of course mean, if the rhythm method was employed by their parents, and it was at best, only 10% successful, then there would be 10% less of them. M'learned fiend. Or is that inemissable evidence? |

Subject: RE: Guitar for the protest camper From: Richard Bridge Date: 28 Nov 11 - 04:27 AM Others think it would be better if governments listened. Or do you mean that the rhythm method is so unreliable that there would be more protesters? That's a good idea. |

Subject: Guitar for the protest camper From: Roger the Skiffler Date: 27 Nov 11 - 11:45 AM Usual Sunday magazine "presents for..." crap this weekend. One category was for people on a protest: tent, warm hat etc. ,they include an Epiphone Harmony guitar "for those protest songs round the campfire". What would be your choice of instrument for that? I suggest a cheap metal bodied resonator to beat off tear gas canisters & it would withstand being stood on by a police horse. Or, a wahsboard which has several potential uses, of course: shield, washing the smalls, even playing! RtS |
