What a very lawyerly response Richard. I of course mean, if the rhythm method was employed by their parents, and it was at best, only 10% successful, then there would be 10% less of them.
M'learned fiend. Or is that inemissable evidence?

Others think it would be better if governments listened.

Or do you mean that the rhythm method is so unreliable that there would be more protesters? That's a good idea.

An Ovation sounds ideal - oh, no, wait a min, you said you might want to play it as well.....

Some think, that it's their parents who should have used the rhythm method

It had better be LOUD, if only to cut through the persistent drumming which seems to the the trademark of "Occupy _____" protestors

Something shyte and sacrificial. Gibson J200 or similar would fit the bill.

Usual Sunday magazine "presents for..." crap this weekend. One category was for people on a protest: tent, warm hat etc. ,they include an Epiphone Harmony guitar "for those protest songs round the campfire". What would be your choice of instrument for that? I suggest a cheap metal bodied resonator to beat off tear gas canisters & it would withstand being stood on by a police horse. Or, a wahsboard which has several potential uses, of course: shield, washing the smalls, even playing!
