Run by Raggy Farmer as I remember. I remember seeing great gigs there from Christie Hennessy, Bernie Parry and Dave Byham. What ever happened to Dave?? I know he was good freinds with Theo Johnson and Mike Berman. That must be 40 years ago now!

I remember Grannies well from the mid '70s. It was upstairs in a pub in Tottenham Court Road - called the Red Lion I think, now demolished. I well remember Jo-anne Kelly being a regular there. It opened on Saturday and Sunday nights.

HI I actually did play at Grannies, It was a great club run by the poet Raggy Farmer. I have his book from those days.

It was in Old Compton street I think or maybe Tottenham court road. Fantastic atmosphere, full of smoke.
