Subject: Concert Window From: Elmore Date: 29 Nov 11 - 03:17 PM First the sob story. I live 45 miles from the venues that present what I consider to be folk music. In the last few years my best friend died, and my wife was badly injured in an accident, so we don't get around much anymore. However, I recently discovered Concert Window. For a small monthly fee, I've seen live concerts by Natalie MacMaster Battlefield Band, Tom Russell,John Doyle,Bob Franke,Laurie Lewis, And other equally talented folk artists. For 3 bucks you can see an individual show. The venues are Freight and Salvage, One Longfellow Square, Club Passim, and Tupelo Music Hall (Londonderry,NH). For anyone who lives in the middle of nowhere, or who simply wants an enjoyable musical experience, I highly recommend. Concert Window. Sorry, no blue clicky. As you can see I can't even type. |
