Subject: RE: Got a YouTube video? Try this for fun. From: Gibb Sahib Date: 08 Dec 11 - 07:30 PM That's been there for years :) ...it's not a trick; it's *supposed* to be something YouTube users know about. Go to "Analytics" (up until recently called "Insight") and you can get a lot more data than that, including information on where people are coming to your video from (for example, from a Google search, from another related video, or from a link on a site like Mudcat). Have fun! |

Subject: Got a YouTube video? Try this for fun. From: Cool Beans Date: 08 Dec 11 - 11:36 AM Ever wonder where they're watching your video? Check this out...There's a video on YouTube of my song "Sixteen Monkeys." There's a little rectangle--it looks like a bar graph-- you can click on to see info about the video's click-on history and a color-coded map of where most of the clicks come from. The darker the shading, the greater the number of hits. The US (my home country) is clearly #1, with three countries at the next darkest shade: Canada, the UK and, wait for it...Sudan. Sudan??! Hellooo, Khartoum!! |
