Paul and I did spots at Queen Camel folk club last night.

(yes there really is a place called Queen Camel - and no we didn't get the hump.....)

First time I really listened hard to his song, My Sister Eyes.

His song really is incredibly beautiful, and the DADGAD picking is quite masgisterial (and funky) and he dserves your vote. Do youurself a favour - have a listen and book this guy for your club or festival. He really has the goods and he is quite desperate to perform his songs for you.

Voting for this round of the Oldies Song Contest ends on 7th January 2012. Thank you to everyone who has voted. My song, "My Sister's Eyes" is number 36. Al's song "Old Man in the Sun" is number 38. You can vote once for as many songs as you like.

We would love to get through to the next round and we both need all the help we can get. Still not sure about that word oldies though!
