Gareth Malone was the guest choosing his inheritance tracks on BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live this morning near the end of the programme).

The track he chose to inherit (thanks to the gift of a book of A E Housman's poems from his grandmother) was "Is my team ploughing" - Housman words set to music by George Butterworth - and the track he chose to pass on to his children was Nancy Kerr's recording of "Dance to my Daddy" (which his family plays in the car a lot...). Apart from the statutory passing reference to bearded singers in sweaters he was enthusiastic about English songs and the importance and fun of singing, and the organic nature of the folk process!
